Weekend Cat Blogging — no. 80
this is a perfect example of what happens when that great picture you planned on taking of your pet for WCB goes badly. i should know better than to say, "ok, ok ..... stay still now! doooon't move!!" and expect him to actually stay put.
in spite of this, i love how this picture turned out. the blurred effect and the colours seem to go together really well.
can't you feel those gamma rays coming out of his eyes, penetrating you?? ;-) at least i didn't end up looking like this from those rays.

ReplyDeleteI've been ogling those new digital cameras that automatically compensate when the subject is moving. Definitely on my wish list!
hey ostara - mine does have all the settings, i just never think of using it. i have to start fiddling with the different options i can use.
ReplyDeletetry ebay'ing for one. people are always getting rid of their older digitals to upgrade to the newer ones. someone i know just got a very nice one from a reseller (reputable) who checks them first.
Hi Burekaboy, very cool photo of the cat. I also have a few photos that have a blurry aspect to them which was definitely not intended but turned out fantastic!
ReplyDeletehey pam - glad to see you're not in the dark. i will take your comment as a big compliment considering your photos are so amazing. i love some of the blurred ones more than the regulars :) thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeletejust posted a comment, then clicked on another one to post another comment... keep forgetting that you cant have two of these things open.. so I dont know if it went through..
ReplyDeleteAnyways i was sayin those eyes.. and its so hard for me to take pictures of my siblins.. i can imagine with a pet...
pj - taking pictures can be very difficult or challenging sometimes. often the best photos re the unplanned and spotaneous ones.
