aja - handmade, too. i really like the beeswax ones. i love this particular hannukiah but it's a pain to keep clean because of the silver. i guess polishing it yearly falls under the tevya-esque-y category of "tradition, tradition".
aja - lol, FOTR is one of the few musicals i can tolerate. as for the hanukkiah, family heirloom? nawww, but i did get it because of its old world look & feel. it actually weighs a ton and needs lots of upkeep (polishing). does look impressive when it's bright & shiny though as it is quite large. i love it. i hope BC appreciates it in the inheritance package. LOL :)
